We know meeting new people can be daunting so we really help make the process as stress free as possible. At your first event we will meet you directly at the door, escort you inside and introduce you to some of our lovely members where you will be welcomed.

Our Impact
Just Good Friends in the community
The charity was established back in September 2012 by
our brilliant Founder and CEO Beverley Sykes after she
saw first hand the devastating effects that being lonely and
feeling isolated can do to people’s mental health and
general wellbeing.
We have grown steadily over the years under Bev’s
leadership to over 250 members, holding between 1-2
meetings and events per day, 7 days a week. Last year the
charity held over 400 local events in total.

We Need Trustees – Help Shape Our Future
We’re a small charity on the Fylde Coast dedicated to combating loneliness and social isolation, and we’re looking for new trustees to help guide our work. With 250+ members, daily activities and a welcoming community already in place, we need people who care about the cause, bring skills and enthusiasm, and can commit to just one meeting a month.
